ACTIVATION & DEACTIVATION

The activation/deactivation method depends on whether your Subaru has a Cruise Control or not

Pull the Cruise Control lever (situated on the right, under the steering wheel) towards you for 4 seconds
OR
Press and hold the CANCEL button for 10 seconds
OR
Pull the High Beam lever 4 times

or change modes via smartphone app

The module is always pre-activated in MODE 1 / ON

Mode 1
The kilometers are stopped at 100%

When the module is activated, the message “Driver’s door open” will appear briefly

Mode 2
The kilometers are stopped at 50%

When the module is activated, the message “Driver’s door open” will appear 2 times briefly

Mode 3
The kilometers are counted at 100%

When the module is deactivated, the message “Driver’s door open” will appear 3 times briefly

Subaru Legacy Kilometer Stopper tool always maintains the last applied settings. Hence, you don’t have to change the settings before starting a car next time.

The device can be activated or deactivated, either while in motion or when stationary.
